Which Linux to use with DAHDI, Asterisk, Yate and icE1usb?

I tried my luck with Debian Trixie, but packages for DAHDI are obviously broken. What distributions do you have in use for your telephony stuff? Which software are you using? Everything self-compiled or binary packages? tty, Fooji.
